Kakao's artificial intelligence (AI) unit Kakao Brain will focus on autonomous drone technology. Kakao revealed the “Deep Drone” project team, with headquarters on Jeju, on its official blog. The project involves the development of robotics technology related to drones. “We are researching and developing an AI-based autonomous drone,” said developer Bryan Kim. He said the ultimate goal was to commercialize the project.
